My name is Kate Groeningen and I am thrilled to bring my years of charter experience to your vacation planning.
After 10 years of chartering; exploring the most southern islands of the Caribbean to the Bahamas up north; along the East coast of the United States to the New England cruising grounds and across to Spain, Italy, Greece and beyond. I cannot recommend a crewed yacht vacation more.
I’ve worked aboard sailing catamarans, motor yachts, power cats and monohulls; providing for vacations and holidays, weddings, engagements and anniversaries, reunions and business deals; catering for celebrities, families and children; toddlers and teens, couples and adventure seekers.
I've always been onboard yachts.
First as a cruising kid from the age of four exploring the Indian and Atlantic Oceans with my family, totaling 20,000 nautical miles over six years; from India to Brazil, the Amazon to the Caribbean and north to the USA. Years later, I returned to yachting yet again after studying Hospitality and Culinary Arts. First, aboard Superyachts where I met my future husband and literal Captain, before shifting our focus to the multifaceted opportunities within the catamaran industry. Fast forward a decade, a ring and a wedding, and together we have crossed the Atlantic Ocean multiple times and sailed over 50,000 nautical miles.
I have scuba dived with Tiger sharks and petted Nurse sharks, I’ve searched for the smallest critters and most elusive seahorses. I’ve learnt from mothers and entrepreneurs, from strangers and friends. I’ve enjoyed meeting each guest and take huge pride in crafting perfect vacation moments and briefly stopping time.
It seems the most natural step forward to continue showcasing the incredible experiences and destinations that can only be truly felt from the bow of a yacht.

Every year, I attend leading yacht shows throughout the Caribbean and Mediterranean, personally stepping aboard yachts, meeting their crews, and continually expanding my firsthand knowledge of the private charter fleet. These relationships and experiences allow me to recommend yachts with confidence, based on real insight.
Above all, I value my clients’ time and understand a week away with family and friends is irreplaceable. The greatest luxury isn’t just the yacht itself; it’s knowing that every detail has been carefully considered so you can make the most of every moment on board.
